Accomplishments
Rumah Baca
We recently completed an exciting project: the construction of a 20ft x 100ft Rumah Baca, a reading house aimed at inspiring local children to love learning. This space serves as a crucial educational resource, offering a safe and welcoming environment for villagers to teach and guide the younger generation. The Rumah Baca features a main reading area, a functional kitchen, and a spacious storage room, making it versatile for community needs. It’s furnished to create a comfortable atmosphere for learning and gatherings, ultimately enhancing educational opportunities for children.
We want to express our heartfelt thanks to the generous sponsors who provided the construction materials:
Chin Hin Group: for the cement block flooring
Tetrapak: for Tetrapak wall panel

Solar Panel and Lighting for the entire village
We are excited to share the successful installation of a 3kW solar panel system in our village, bringing sustainable energy to life! With solar-powered lighting now installed in every household, the entire village is beautifully illuminated, transforming the nightscape and daily lives of the community.
This initiative marks a major step toward a greener future and energy independence. By harnessing clean, renewable solar power, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint while ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy source for all village folks.
Special thanks to the solar panel and installation sponsor and expert:
Urban Forest Sdn Bhd
Jalur Milenium Sdn Bhd.

Toilet and Shower
We’ve wrapped up building not one, but two bathroom-cum-toilet cubicles for the village! These new facilities are a game-changer, combining a shower and toilet in each unit to make daily life so much more convenient. And guess what? They’ll be especially handy during the rainy and monsoon seasons when staying dry and clean can be a real challenge.
This is all about keeping things comfortable, improving hygiene, and making sure the village has what it needs to thrive—even when the weather doesn’t cooperate! 🌧️🚿

Reinforcement of Bridge
The bridge leading to the village was in a pretty shaky and wobbly state, but not anymore! 💪 We rolled up our sleeves and got to work, reinforcing it with scaffolding pipes, sturdy clamps, and wooden planks. Now, the bridge is stronger, safer, and ready to handle daily crossings with ease.

Quail Coop
We’ve built 11 quail coops for the village, creating a sustainable and reliable source of protein and fresh eggs! 🐦🥚 These little coops are a big deal—they help improve nutrition for the community and even offer a potential income stream for families. 💚
Special thanks to quail coop sponsor: DESAKU.

Water Dam for water access
We’ve made a practical improvement for the village by building a small dam uphill and installing a water tank. This provides a steady water source for daily use, making everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning a little easier for everyone. It’s a small step with meaningful benefits for the community. 💧

Food aid
We’ve partnered with Rise Against Hunger to distribute RISE rice packages, which contain 17 vital minerals to help boost nutrition in the community. Along with the rice, we also provided additional food supplies, including oil, sugar, salt, biscuits, salted fish, vegetables, and potatoes, to ensure families have what they need to stay nourished. This collaboration is all about supporting the village with essential food resources to promote better health and well-being.
Special shoutout to our food sponsors:
Rise Against Hunger
Sunway Food Bank
All other kind-hearted individuals who have generously sponsored the other food items.

Medical aid
We’ve provided medical consultations and free health checks, including blood glucose and blood pressure screenings, to the village community. In addition, we distributed basic medicines for common ailments like fever, flu, diarrhea, and deworming. This initiative helps ensure that everyone has access to essential healthcare and can stay healthy, especially in remote areas where medical resources are limited.

A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers—without your hard work and dedication, none of this would have been possible. You’ve truly made a difference! We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, whether in cash or kind, for your generous support. Together, we’ve achieved something incredible, and we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙏💙
