Flood Relief @ Kg Permatang Siput

Kg Permatang Siput, located in Pahang along the banks of the Pahang River, lies between the Keratong Highway and Pekan.

Around end of December 2021, the village was severely impacted by flooding. For nearly 13 days, the floodwaters submerged homes, and 140 families were affected. Sadly, many crops were washed away, leaving the community in urgent need of assistance.

On 15 and 16 January 2022, we partnered with Ferris Wheels Organisation to deliver much-needed aid to the affected families. In total, 140 food aid packages were distributed, each containing:

1. Rice

2. Meehon

3. Instant coffee powder

4. Flour

5. Maggi

6. Biscuit

7. Sardine

8. Cooking oil

9. Salt

10. Sugar

11. Susu tin

12. 1.5l mineral water
